FAQ

1. Where are the Liiteri services located?
Currently there are Liiteris in Helsinki at Teurastamo, Vuosaari, and Oulunkylä,  Kivistö in Vantaa, Lempäälä. Learn more about the location at the Contacts page. If you would like to have a Liiteri in your neighbourhood, let us know (see point 10)!

2. How do I get to use the Liiteri’s devices?
1.  Sign up, confirm your email address and carry out strong authentication using your bank codes.
2. Buy a monthly plan (or use a coupon code you’ve received) or pay per one time rental.
3. Book the item you need from the Liiteri location most convenient for you for a chosen time period. Detailed Liiteri locations and addresses can be found on the Contacts page
4.  Pick up 24/7 and use the item.

3. How much using Liiteri costs?
The monthly plan of (Easy Living package) is 18.80 € and allows you to book items from any Liiteri without restrictions.

Starter package for 3 months is available for 9.90€/month.

Pay-per-use hourly rental prices vary according to the item in question, e.g. textile cleaner 5€/h sowing machine 3 €/h etc. 

4. How do I pay for the monthly plan?
The monthly plan can be paid with both credit and debit card.

5. How do I cancel my monthly subscription? Is there some kind of cancelling period which requires me to pay certain amount of time even after cancelling?
You can cancel your subscription anytime in the service at your Profile page by pressing  Unsubscribe button. Your subscription will end when the ongoing one month long billing period ends and you will not be charged after that.

6. How long is the maximum loan time of the items?
The maximum loan time is 48 hours.

7. Can I return the item before the loaning time ends?
Yes you can. You can return the item anytime during you booking.

8. How do I get in to Liiteri?
Once you have registered and purchased a monthly plan, you can reserve an item. Or alternatively you can pay for one time rental. 15 minutes before the beginning of your booking time a door opening button will appear on the service in “My current bookings” view. You get to this view by pressing “My current bookings” button on the top right corner in the opening view of the service on your mobile device. Once you are in the “My current bookings view”, choose the Liiteri where you reserved the item(s) using the drop down menu. The door will open when you press the green button on the righ side under the “Pick-up” section.  Returning of the item works the same way. Items can be returned throughout their loan time. The door opening instructions are sent to the user also by e-mail.

9. Does Liiteri monthly plan and one time rentals work in all of the Liiteris?
Yes, you can book any items from any Liiteri in the network with the one and same user account.
